BALFIN Group, committed to a more sustainable future, participated in the third regional conference Balkanomics in Tirana, and it was represented by Csaba Toth, Vice President of the Group for Real Estate Asset Management.
Mr. Toth joined leaders from various companies, senior representatives from governments, and public institutions in the region to discuss the importance of implementing the highest European standards in environment, society, and governance (ESG) for a region with developed economy and smart investments.
During the session for the launch of the First Albanian ESG Network, Csaba Toth discussed the Group’s commitment to ESG standards, highlighting that this mission is a top priority for it.
“The Group’s presence in multiple industries and its extensive network position it as a potential contributor to the integration of ESG standards. This goes beyond environmental issues or certifications; it also encompasses the responsibility towards employees and social accountability. As we shape cities through our construction efforts, it is crucial that we remain in harmony with the communities we serve. Most importantly, we must approach ESG standards strategically, ensuring that every future decision is grounded in these principles,” said Mr. Toth.
Participation in the Balkanomics, engagement in the First ESG Network in Albania, and sharing insights and challenges related to the adoption and implementation of ESG principles, show that the BALFIN Group’s commitment goes beyond corporate responsibility. It reflects a commitment to positively impact the region’s sustainable development.
