Balfin group has bought 100% of the shares of Albanian Chrome from Australian Alloys Poducer Dcm Deco Metal

Balkan Finance Investment Group (Balfin) bought the shares of ACR Holding srl in Italy, shares that were in ownership of the Austrians of DCM Decometal. This operation will assure the normal operations of AlbChrome and infrastructure investments to the mines and the plants of the company. Balfin Group will cover the debt of AlbChrome toward other business partners and the employees and aims to transform AlbChome in a successful story.

Very soon Balfin Group will present the investment plans that will exceed the contractual required investments. One of the first investments will be the opening of the drive system in Klos plant, an investment that has been waiting for more than 20 years. Other projects that will start immediately are the opening of the well number 9 that will increase the chrome extraction.

Together with the children of “Martyrs of state police” assosiation

Balfin Group celebrated Christmas with the children of the state police that died in missions against criminality. Mr. Saimir Mane was personally involved to organize the activity where the staff of Balfin Group and him in persons gave gifts for the children. Surrounded by children he said “Our company is always accompanied by humanity. This is a minimum effort from our staff but we wanted to show to these children that they will never be alone.”

Through the NEPTUN‘s gifts, Mr. Samir Mane wishes to “enlighten” the little hearts of the children of “Martyrs of State Police” association; Children who face difficult life challenges.

Also, an aid is given for the people with disabilities in the “Residential Development Centre” in Berat with detergents and food in this Christmas time.

Tirana Logistic Park, the first logistic park in Albania

Construction for Albania’s first Logistics Park began with the groundbreaking ceremony held by Tirana Logistics Park.  With the push of a button the Prime Minister of Albania, His Excellency Dr Sali Berisha poured the first concrete for the foundation of the first warehouse.
Tirana Logistics Park is being developed in 2 phases, the first phase will consist of 3 warehouses with a total GLA of 48 000m² located on a plot of land of 114 000m². The warehouses, with an internal height of 11 m of clearance will be able to support any form of distribution or light manufacturing. The park will have on site customs clearance, level dock unloading facilities, direct access to 2 highways and the railway. An inland container terminal is planned at a later stage. Free zone designation is planned and bonded licensing is also available.  The first warehouse is fully leased and tenants are being sought for the other 2 warehouses.

Tirana East Gate opens its doors for all

On November 26, 2011 the newest and largest shopping mall in Albania opened. Tirana East Gate, “TEG” with a gross built area of 90000m2 and a total leasable area of 41,600m2 was opened by the Prime Minister of Albania, His Excellency Dr Sali Berisha, Mr Samir Mane, the majority owner of the TEG and the American Ambassador to Albania, Mr. Alexander Arvizu.

TEG, located 4 km from the city center makes the center unique, not only for its geographic location, but also from the diversity of shops with the center. With the brand new names to the Albanian market such as Carrefour and Jumbo, which are market leaders in their categories of groceries and children and home items.
