Position:           Architectural Works Supervisor

Location:          Palasa

Summary: Supervision of works is carried out for each project and aims to ensure proper control over the entire implementation process, in accordance with the co-investment contract, the project documentation, the technical conditions of design and implementation, as well as the intended purpose of the facility.

In addition to overseeing the execution of works, the Supervisor also monitors the construction schedule. Periodic inspections are conducted, especially during key phases of the project, in reference to the co-investment contract.

Main Responsibilities:

• Follows the process of handing over the construction site to the developer;
• Has detailed knowledge of the construction contract and all related administrative acts, as well as any potential amendments that may occur over time;
• Ensures that the works are executed in accordance with the approved Building Permit project and within the timelines defined in the contract;
• Verifies that the materials used on site are in compliance with the approved project;
• Requests testing of construction materials used in the project if such tests have not been sufficiently conducted, based on the executed volumes and the supplied raw materials, in order to verify quality;
• If any implementation defects are identified, immediately notifies the Supervision Unit Manager and prepares a report outlining the deviations from the approved project;
• Monitors the implementation of the detailed construction schedule and reports its progress to the Unit Manager;
• Assists in the development and evaluation of the project to determine whether it is feasible and worth undertaking;
• Provides technical consultancy on specific aspects of project management that go beyond the Project Manager’s expertise;
• Reports periodically to the Supervision Unit Manager.

Education: Master Degree – Architecture

Requirements:

• 15 years of experience in construction implementation;
• Experience in supervision of works is considered an advantage;
• Ability to propose solutions and make decisions;
• Critical thinking skills regarding design details, both functional and aesthetic aspects;
• Ability to coordinate work across relevant projects;
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team;
• Strong managerial, coordination, and organizational skills;
• Excellent command of the English language; knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage;
• Thorough knowledge of construction work legislation;
• Proficient in computer programs such as MS Office, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project; knowledge of Revit is considered an asset.
