We are seeking to welcome a strong analytical thinker with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and focus on detail to join our Librazhd Branch, as the Branch Manager, Band 4 reporting directly to the District Business Development Manager.
Overall Job Definition
The Branch Manager shall be responsible for the management of business development activity in branch, as well as staff development in order to achieve the qualitative and quantitative set targets and improve customer service quality towards bank’s clients.
Main Responsibilities:
Business development and management
- Develops and implements action plans for the Branch so that business objectives and key performance indicators are achieved in compliance with procedures in force;
- Responsible for implementing sales management process assuring that the SFE techniques are applied at required standards and sales target are achieved;
- Continuously improves customer service quality offered in branch to deliver an optimal customer experience in compliance with policies, procedures and systems in place;
- Ensures on a daily basis a proper branch appearance according to required standards
- Performs the AML/CFT officer responsibilities in branch level and supports compliance department in regards to regulatory guidelines.
- Responsible for duly implementation of provisions of Tirana Bank KYC and AML/CFT Policy and all other relevant procedures in force in his/her branch;
- Responsible for the compliance with the data protection policy in force through awareness-raising, monitoring and advising branch staff on their responsibilities and obligations;
- Performs impact assessment on data protection matters within the organizational unit that is managing (leading), as per the data protection policy of the bank in force;
- Cooperates and ensures all processing and/or databases are registered with the DPO officer;
- Collaborates with Compliance Manager (DPO) relating to business partner contracts on data protection matters;
- Responds to individuals whose data is processed (your employees, clients and similar) on issues related to the processing of their data and the exercise of their rights under the Regulation;
- Follows-up the control functions findings and ensures their implementation to protect the bank from risk exposure;
Relationship Management
- Ensures the progress and strengthening of relations with existing customers as well as creating a successful relationship with new and potential customers;
- Constantly identifies potential for new business in the market area it operates;
- Manages difficult situations through quick and proper response to customer requests by providing them with solutions and/or appropriate information;
- Represents the Bank and promotes the brand in a positive manner through participations in local activities;
- Maintains good collaboration with HO departments related to branch issues (administration, HR, marketing, operations, IT, etc.) to ensure fast solutions of daily issues;
People Management
- Manages performance of staff by setting appropriate objectives, mentors and give feedback to staff; deliver objective performance appraisal;
- Builds a successful team by using appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style by facilitating completion of team goals;
Responsible for staff development by building individual development plans, action plans and implements them making sure that development opportunities and resources are properly provided and personal attention is given to progress;
Competencies / Skills:
- Holds a Bachelor Degree in Economy or other related field; Master degree is preferable;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Banking Sector/Financial Institutions, managerial / supervising job experience are considered an advantage;
- Very good knowledge of business know-how, market insight and networking;
- Very good managerial, coaching and mentoring skills;
- Lead by example approach, able to create a positive working environment and team spirit;
- Self-motivated and results oriented;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Ability to adopt quickly to a new and dynamic environment;
- Strong command of English language in written and spoken;
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
