Position:         Compensation and Benefits Senior Specialist

Location:         ACREM HQ Offices, Tirana

 

Summary of the Position

The Senior Human Resources Specialist supports the department and performs certain functions in the daily activity, by implementing the standards and rules established for the approved HR Policies and Procedures within the BALFIN Group.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for the monthly staff compensation process according to the personnel benefits document (fuel, subscription, cell package, health & life insurance package, etc.) as well as special needs such as temporary skills, certificates, travel reimbursements, voucher cards, etc.

  • Responsible for the payroll process, finalizing payrolls and bank transfers. Reports to finance the allocation of monthly personnel costs, monitors them in relation to the annual budget and reports deviations. Provides efficient solutions for keeping the respective costs under control & optimizing them.
  • Follows the process of drafting the annual budget plan on personnel salaries and compensations. Performs financial analyses necessary for personnel cost optimization in function of the annual budgeting plan. Assists in drafting the company’s strategy on personnel expenses.
  • Prepares standard dashboard reports, questionnaires, action plans, according to established annual KPIs or newly according to needs.
  • Supervises the process of personnel attendance software issues (check-in/out) and follows up on effective solutions in problematic cases with the aim of real-time information accuracy. Supervises and accurately confirms the annual leave database in real time.
  • Manages the process of evaluating performances, year-end compensation, health or any other process during the year related to personnel benefits according to the company’s internal benefits & compensation policy.
  • Processes and prepares periodically analyses & reports related to personnel costs & periodic presentations on results. Suggests improvement & optimization plans that positively affect the company’s performance.
  • Processes all personnel information details related to the profile it covers in the HR software available to the company. Prepares certain reports on the progress, effectiveness and development of all processes referred to the profile it covers in the HR software.
  • Ensures the proper implementation and development of HR policies & procedures, compliance with the Labor Code and the company’s internal regulations, which are included in her role.
  • Actively involved in the implementation of any HR activity aimed at increasing synergy, performance & engagement of staff, as well as special programs according to the HR calendar.
  • Responsible for maintaining personal data and completing, updating & archiving personnel documents in accordance with legislation & labor code, ISP requirements, etc., as well as internal company procedures referring to changes in arrivals/departures, transfers, promotions, contracts, amendments, etc.
  • Other additional tasks according to the volumes & needs of the department assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance-accounting, economics, etc.
  • Similar experience in the profile of not less than 2 years.
  • Fluency in English and have very good computer skills.
  • Very good knowledge of the MS Office package.
