We are seeking to welcome a candidate in the Credit Product Manager, (Band 4T) position to join our Retail Credit Department reporting directly to the Head of Department.
Overall Job Definition
The Credit Product Manager ensures the collaboration between stakeholders within Retail Credit Department for analysing processes and workflows, by proposing any business requirements into functional specifications for other developing teams in the bank, like project managers, developers and testers.
He/she is able to identify areas of process improvements and recommend solutions with the aim of increasing efficiency and effectiveness, complying with Policies, Procedures and Products of the Bank in terms of credit.
Main Responsibilities:
- Understands clearly the Credit Manual, Retail Credit Policy, Decision Matrix, all retail credit products as well as the processes and the roles involved in the retail credit lending activity and decision making.
- Formulates business requirements regarding the software platforms with the aim to reflect credit policy rules and criteria’s as well as related procedures within Credit Retail Department, accommodating the risks associated with it.
- Ensures systems calibration. Maintains and controls the quality of business logic within the software’s in line with credit policy and regulatory requirements.
- Identifies areas for process optimization and recommends improvements whenever needed.
- Assists and coordinates co-workers in Credit Retail Department for different projects that are directly related to their area of expertize.
- Takes part actively in developing and managing automated underwriting systems to streamline the credit decision-making process.
- Works closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives and challenges. Communicates complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Stays up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry best practices, ensuring the organization’s compliance with all relevant laws and requirement.
- Proposes innovative and practical solutions ensuring flawless process in line with organization’s strategic goals and technological capabilities.
- Creates detailed documentation including business requirements, makes estimations and planning on deliveries.
- Participate in system testings, user acceptance and validation of implemented solutions ensuring that such solutions meet the requirements.
Performs other duties assigned by the supervisor within his/her area of responsibility.
Competencies / Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economic Informatics/Computing, Business Administration, Information Technology or related fields (master’s degree is a plus)
- Experience in a similar job position for at least 3 years in banking system.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies how they are applied.
- Very good knowledge of English.
- Very good knowledge of PC and other related programs.
- Very good organizational and time-management skills.
- Owns a sound judgment and has a proactive approach.
