Overall Job Definition


The Credit Risk Officer for Business Loans shall be responsible to ensure that the loans meet: The credit policies and procedures approved by the bank; the safety standards and guidelines of the bank; an acceptable level of risk assumed by the bank.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Processes /analyzes / assesses the Corporate, SME, BRU, WO proposals in correlation with the business and recoveries officers;
  • Prepares credit assessment by presenting credit risks and worthiness of the lending proposals, being in accordance with TB credit risk policy;
  • Proactively follows the loan procedure up to the final decision (approval or rejection);
  • Giving opinions and participating in discussions related to credit policies and procedures;
  • Assists in keeping statistics and prepares reports periodically related to different credit aspects;
  • Perform any other duty assigned by the supervisor


Competencies / Skills:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economy or related fields;
  • Min 3+ years of banking experience in similar positions;
  • Very good knowledge of banking system regulations, credit processes and service;
  • Sound knowledge of business financial analyses;
  • Very accurate and attention to detail;
  • Very good critical thinking; and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work well as part of a team;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Very good spoken and written communication skills;
  • Very good knowledge of English language (writing and speaking);
