Position: Electrical Technician
Department: Technical Maintenance
Location: TEG/ACREM
Summary of the Position:
The Electrical Technician in the Technical Maintenance Department in the Shopping Center is responsible for the control of electrical systems and the maintenance of these systems. Reports to the Shift Supervisor and Manager regarding the technical condition of the systems.
Main Responsibilities:
1.Responsible for electrical systems that include the main low and medium voltage panels.
2.Check the condition of the generators, the condition of the oil tank, the relevant panels.
3.Check the oil level in the generator and refill it if necessary.
4.Inspects the electrical/electronic equipment room and panels for any anomalies
5.Check the lamps and transformers and replace them.
6.Responsible for measuring and controlling electrical parameters in the main and secondary distribution panels and periodically reports on their performance.
7.Checks the fire extinguishing system, sprinkler system, burglar alarm and notifies the supervisor if necessary.
- Checks and operates the electrical & electronic control parts of the BMS systems, fire system, telephone system, anti-theft system, sprinkler/hydrant system pumps, HVAC & ventilation system control panels, CCTV system and electrical system.
9.Check the UPS system to see if it is working properly.
10.Responsible for all electrical/electronic work in the center and other contracted stores under the responsibility of the Technical Maintenance Department and notifies the supervisor of the necessary things.
- Operates the system for turning on/off all the center’s lights based on the specified schedule.
12.Check whether the devices are working and turn on time through the BMS & Timer system control.
Other tasks performed together with the team:
1.Respond to calls for defects and take the necessary steps, as well as report to the superior if necessary.
2.Check the condition of the automatic elevator door and report to the superior if necessary.
3.Turn on the music system and ensure that the music is played at normal volume.
4.Keep a record of all energy readings.
5.Check the condition of the three-panel visual billboard at the entrance to the center.
6.To adhere to the budget foreseen and approved by the supervisor and to report on it.
7.To monitor the interior decoration of the new store and to report on it.
8.To keep a diary of daily events.
9.To report the work to the supervisor.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Vocational course or school for Electrical Technician.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in the same or similar positions.
- Have good ethics and communication skills.
- Have good organizational and teamwork skills.
- Be an energetic person with high self-motivation at work.
- The candidate must have very good interpersonal skills.
