Position:         Events Coordinator

Department:   Marketing

Location:         ACREM Tirane

 

Summary of the Position:

The Events Coordinator is responsible for the proposal, processing of marketing events and promotional ideas in accordance with the requirements of the shopping center and the needs of the tenants. Prepares and submits all materials required for informational or promotional purposes in support of shopping center campaigns or company image. Reports to the Marketing Manager.

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • To build, in cooperation with the head of the department, the annual strategy for each center regarding the organization of events.
  • To create the annual plan of events in line with the strategy for each center, differentiating them.
  • To create different decorations or themes for the centers referring to different holidays or organizations created by the Department itself.
  • To be updated with events abroad and practices of other foreign centers.
  • To have and enjoy contacts of event organization companies inside and outside the country and constantly bring innovative ideas.
  • To deal with the development of the event using resources inside and outside the company.
  • To realize quality events with high participation and the number of visitors.
  • To achieve the annual objectives of the number of anticipated events.
  • Reach the target number of participants for each event.
  • To develop events that help the major campaigns of the centers.
  • To develop a differentiating event plan for each center so that each one competes.
  • Maintain relations with the Procurement department and follow all processes accurately.
  • To store, maintain and document accurately and in detail all the relevant documents for each event referring to the company’s procedures.
  • To improve current processes for the maintenance of materials used in events by recycling them.
  • To be able to use social media to reflect the events of the centers as well as to be updated with the new developments on these platforms, placing them in the function of the successful development of the events.
  • To manage the sale of promotional spaces in the center to ensure additional income for the department both from the center’s stores and from partners.​

 

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • At least 3-4 years of experience in the same position or similar positions.
  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English (knowledge of other foreign languages is preferred).
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent communication/presentation/public speaking skills.
  • Methodical and organized.
  • Creative thinking, innovative ideas, and strong analytical skills.
