Position: Interior Design Lead Architect
Location: Tirana

Summary: The Interior Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and supervising interior projects, based on the approved budget, client requirements, and building characteristics. By analyzing the location, building typology, and client profile, they determine the architectural style, materials, and functional solutions appropriate for each project.
They prepare interior architectural drawings, tender packages, plan and coordinate construction processes, and oversee project quality, deadlines, and proper implementation. Additionally, they supervise the team to ensure consistency in architectural language and standards across various complex projects.

Main Responsibilities:
• Design, plan, and supervise the implementation of interior projects;
• Ensure the functionality and aesthetics of interior spaces in line with architectural style, time, and location;
• Prepare structural layouts, drawings, and plans according to client requirements and technical specifications;
• Collaborate closely with engineers, contractors, and other architects;
• Supervise the team to maintain coherence and architectural language in the project;
• Communicate with clients regarding design concepts and project types, and inspect the construction site;
• Consider the style in relation to the building and its location;
• Prepare preliminary sketches using appropriate design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp) to provide an initial impression of the space, materials, and their combinations;
• Revise plans as needed to meet client requirements;
• After client approval of preliminary plans, develop detailed plans including technical information, material specifications, and implementation methods;
• Regularly visit the site to ensure proper execution according to the plans;
• Approve materials to be used;
• Supervise and review work by other architectural, mechanical, and project staff;
• Implement necessary changes throughout the design process;
• Oversee and contribute to project cost preparation, including materials, furniture, lighting, etc.;
• Participate in the selection of materials, furniture, and lighting in line with the defined budget;
• Assist in preparing tender packages;
• Supervise construction quality, timelines, and material usage;
• Coordinate with team leaders on finishing works;
• Perform other assigned tasks as required.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture

Requirements:
• 8–10 years of experience in interior design and implementation;
• Ability to propose solutions and make decisions;
• Strong communication skills and ability to clearly present ideas and solutions;
• Critical eye for finishing details, both functionally and aesthetically;
• Ability to coordinate work and manage projects effectively;
• Ability to work under high workload and fast-paced environment;
• Teamwork skills;
• Excellent command of English; additional foreign languages are an advantage;
• Proficient in 2D and 3D software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Photoshop, etc.
