Position: Junior Finance Specialist
Department: Finance
Location: Tirane
Summary of the Position:
The main purpose of the Junior Finance specialist helps and supports in the recording of purchase and sales invoices as well as in other processes that take place in the Finance Department.
Main Responsibilities:
- Accounting for sales invoices in accordance with applicable fiscal legislation and company procedures.
- Generates purchase invoices from the Selfcare (fiscalisation) system and ensures their signature by the relevant department.
- Reconciliation of Sales and Purchase Books as well as their reconciliation with the tax system and the financial system.
- Reconcile and control accounts receivable and payable periodically.
- Preparation of payments to suppliers and other creditors, preparation of supporting documentation for payments.
- Weekly report on cash and bank journals along with supporting documentation and ensuring that necessary documents are not missing.
- Any other duties assigned.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance required.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting.
- Previous work experience in a construction/investment company is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of the new National Accounting Standards.
- Able to work without/or with little supervision.
- Have initiative, be communicative and work as part of a team.
- Oriented to follow the problems and reach the final solution.
- Good knowledge of the Finance 5 program.
- Good knowledge of English language is preferred.
