Summary of the Position:


Legal & Compliance Manager ensures that an organization operates within legal and regulatory frameworks by providing legal advice, overseeing regulatory compliance and managing risks. He/she handles contract drafting, conducts compliance training, and performs internal audits to assess and improve compliance programs for ACREMs portfolio.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Legal preparation of draft lease contracts as close as possible to requirements, policy, or strategy, referring to situations from previous precedents.
  • Consulting and drafting for cases of premature closing of contracts, initiated by the lessor or even by the lessee.
  • Consultancy in the preparation of contracts before finalization (adjustment of certain provisions, incorporation, or removal of other provisions).
  • Cases of handling requests/complaints from tenants that can be directly related to the permissibility or not according to the law.
  • Follow-up of court cases and preparation of documents together with the involved departments.
  • Consultancy for the follow-up of issues related to state institutions.
  • Application of HICP, interpretation of contracts, adaptation/systematization of drafts.
  • Application of VAT, adaptation of drafts, handling of communications from the legal side.
  • Legal fiscal consultancy.
  • Personnel legal consultancy regarding restructuring or closure of structures.
  • Legal consultancy on problems of termination of contracts.
  • Preparation of service contracts with the subcontractors of the centers.
  • Preparation of lease contracts with the owners of the facilities under management.
  • Preparation of co-financing contracts with the owners and any issue arising from these contracts such as: renovations, investments, etc.
  • Preparation of various service contracts for marketing activities.
  • Preparation of cooperation contracts for events that take place in shopping centers.
  • Preparation of rental contracts for promotions or advertising spaces.
  • Preparation of various contracts on the services we offer within the Balfin group.
  • Provide the CEO with a compliance check program/ self-assessment check list in company level, designed in collaboration with the relevant Department.
  • Assess and provide the CEO with an annual report on the status of the company compliance checklist that includes all the relevant Departments.
  • Suggest to the CEO an action plan and recommendations to address non-compliances, depending on their materiality.
  • Support the CEO in compiling an annual report on the status of the company compliance check and the mitigation action plan. If required to share within the Audit Committee hearings the outcomes. Legal preparation of draft lease contracts as close as possible to requirements, policy, or strategy, referring to situations from previous precedents.





  • Law university degree
  • 5+ years of experience as legal advisor in different businesses
  • Strong English proficiency
