Position: Logistic Specialist

Department: Finance

Location: Palasa, Albania


Summary: The Logistics Specialist works under the supervision of the Logistics Manager and is responsible for coordinating the phases of the logistics process, tracking progress, coordinating the work of teams for common phases; Realization of support services for projects/activities undertaken according to the field of competence.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Assists and supports the Logistics Manager in the management of the operating system between the Department and third parties and the organization of supporting documentation;
  • Plans means of transportation;
  • Monitors transportation costs;
  • Management, tracking and maintenance of company assets and machines;
  • Responsible for managing, inventorying and coordinating the movement of the Company’s Assets;
  • Responsible for following up and fulfilling all transportation needs;
  • Maintains regular contact with company departments;
  • Mediates the solution of various requests and problems with the main purpose of implementing any phase started in accordance with the interests and objectives of the Company under the suggestions and approval of the Logistics Manager;


  • Systematically carries out checks and reports of km/fuel and vehicle servicing;
  • Organizes, follows and monitors the movements of materials, goods for their transport according to the request and ensures that the goods/equipment arrive on time as well as follows the solution of the relevant problems with the goods/equipment not delivered;
  • Follows, acts and implements manuals, procedures and legal norms in force to avoid penalties;
  • Performs other functions determined by the Head of the Department and/or the General Administrator;
  • Analysis, reporting of logistics processes for the company;
  • Coordination of staff movements, accommodation, etc.;
  • Other tasks asigned by the supervisor


Education: University Degree




  • Have work experience of not less than 3 years;
  • Very good computer skills, in the programs “MS Projects”, “Microsoft Office” or even in other standard packages, for programming;
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to plan work and set priorities;
  • Excellent communication skills, possess work ethics and integrity;
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to efficiently solve problems;
  • Ability to perform many tasks simultaneously and ability to orient the details;
  • Very good interpersonal skills;
  • Very good ability to maintain confidential information;
  • Ability to coordinate work and relevant projects;
  • Sense of Responsibility;
  • Ability to work in a group and take initiative;
  • Equipment with valid driving license
