Position: Quality Manager (for mechanical, electrical, architectural, or hydraulic works)

Job Summary: The Quality Manager will be an integral part of the quality structure, aiming to improve and enhance quality in the construction field. This position will contribute to the development and implementation of quality control systems, performance management, and detailed oversight of construction projects. The role will require dedication to ensuring that projects are well-coordinated and executed in accordance with the highest standards of quality and performance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implementation and monitoring of a structured, integrated, and efficient system for quality control of works in the required discipline (mechanical; or electrical; or architectural; or hydraulic) throughout all phases of the construction project.
- Ensures that the required standards for the quality of materials and completed works are met.
- Works closely with execution teams to identify opportunities for improvements in project processes and outcomes.
- Anticipates, manages, and controls technical and operational risks to ensure the fulfillment of quality, deadlines, and project budget.
- Coordinates and manages technical and operational processes to ensure a quick response to issues that may arise during construction.
- Provides recommendations for solutions to technical and operational problems, ensuring the minimization of delays and additional costs.
- Conducts detailed inspections of projects in accordance with internal project developments, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Plays a key role and actively participates in system testing and their handover.
- Ensures that all project phases meet technical and quality requirements as per the investor’s guidelines.
- Assists in analyzing opportunities for technical and operational improvements, offering effective and optimal solutions for challenges encountered during project execution.
- Prepares detailed reports on the progress and status of the project, including aspects of quality, risk, and cost management.
- Ensures that all concerns and issues are addressed promptly and communicated with other team members and investors.
- Collaborates closely with other structures and teams to ensure that the quality and performance of the project are enhanced at every phase.
Education: Must hold a university degree in Engineering, according to the relevant discipline (Civil Engineerning, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulic). Specific qualifications for the position are preferred.
Requirements:
- Previous experience (at least 5+ years) in managing and overseeing construction projects in the relevant field.
- At least 5 years of work experience in the relevant discipline for residential construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of quality standards and construction technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for technical and operational issues.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge and ability to evaluate and optimize costs in construction.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret project plans, business correspondence, contracts, procedures, and technical manuals.
- Good knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the workplace and construction environment.
- Ability to effectively present issues, excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as report preparation.
- Initiative and flexibility regarding working hours.
- Good knowledge of computer programs (CAD, EXCEL, MS-PROJECT (or PRIMAVERA), etc.).
- Good knowledge of the English language.
