Position:          Senior Business Analyst

Summary: The Senior Business Analyst provides in-depth analysis services and suggest strategies to key partners and stakeholders of a company. He / She also reviews business processes to help diagnose the business’ financial risks. This position requires a blend of strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication to support the company’s financial health and growth.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepares business reporting packages to management, shareholders and lending institutions in the required format and frequency;
• Conducts variance analysis to compare actual results with budgeted figures, identifying key trends and providing actionable insights to the management;
• Collaborates with the Finance Managers and Project Managers to optimize financial outcomes and support strategic initiatives;
• Develops and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making;
• Prepares and evaluates the business plans and budgets of the company and reports to the finance manager;
• Develops and maintains long-term forecasts for the company’s profitability, investments and cash-flow;
• Analyzes project viability through NPV, IRR, payback period, and other key financial metrics.
• Conducts regular risk assessments to mitigate potential issues;
• Supports the management team in developing and executing the company’s financial strategy;
• Provides financial analysis and insights to inform strategic decisions related to investments, acquisitions, and divestitures;
• Prepares and presents financial reports and updates to management team and finance manager;
• Collaborates with Finance Managers and Project Managers to evaluate the financial feasibility of new projects and investments.
• Collaborates with Finance Managers to ensure effective communication and coordination across the finance team;

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CFA) is preferred.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, and controlling, preferably within the real estate industry;
• Proficiency in financial modelling, advanced proficiency in financial analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel, ERP Systems, BI Tools);
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to details;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely;
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience;
• In-depth understanding of accounting standards, financial regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the real estate industry.
