We are seeking to welcome a qualified Senior Swift Payments & Compliance Officer (Band 4T) reporting directly to the Head of Open Banking processes & Integration Unit.

 

Overall Job Definition

The Senior Swift Payments & Compliance Specialist analyzes supports and maintains the operational assurance systems that support Bank’s operations by using the possibilities provided.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Dedicated, focused and specialised on the payment products and related business processes and respective flow
  • Responsible for the processing of all type of payments and related flow as per the payment products, channels, Payment management and assure compliance verification on all steps.
  • Cover smoothly not only the system upgrades and new releases, but also adopt gradually the transformation of the waterfall methodology to an agile one for new projects
  • Analyzes Payment processes and exploits issues arising from the Branch Network, Swift and Local Clearing.
  • Analyzes the specifications and operating requirements for new and existing Payment services.
  • Proposes improvements concerning the operation of IT Systems related to his area of responsibility.
  • Analyzes requirements for the management of customer details with respect to the products under his area of responsibilities in Bank customer-oriented systems.
  • Supervise the setup of business analysis of the Bank’s products and services related to the area of responsibility.
  • Supports in coordination with the Delivery Manager to guarantee the project schedule to be on time, mitigating the risk generated projects inter-dependency
  • Supports the Head of Open Banking Processes and Integration Unit on the requirements analysis with respect to Core systems and Operational issues
  • Implement Parameters changes for his area of responsibility
  • Implements systems functional testing and supports user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Help personnel adjust to the related process during times of change.
  • Support the business to identify customer needs and make prioritizations for his area of responsibility
  • Support the managing of requirements regarding timelines and priorities
  • Resolves operational problems.
  • Provides support to TB employees for issues related to his area of responsibilities
  • Any other duty that is delegated to the employee by the supervisor

 

 

Competencies / Skills:

  • Owns a High School Diploma in Economics, Business Administration, Technical or similar discipline. Master’s Degree is preferable
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Bank Organization or Operations Department, preferably in intrabank payments flow & products
  • Excellent English Knowledge
