Summary: He/She is responsible for leading, coordinating, and overseeing all technical support activities related to the successful execution of the company’s construction projects. The role also ensures that technical solutions comply with project standards, relevant legislation, and business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with Project/Program Managers to meet project requirements at all stages of implementation.
• Leads the design process to ensure the unit provides services that meet standards and quality.
• Reviews and approves technical projects, preventive measures, and specifications, ensuring compliance with Terms of Reference (ToR), management plans, and other required criteria.
• Considers the type of construction in relation to the site, climate, and surrounding buildings.
• Organizes and supervises the work of the project processing staff.
• Collaborates with engineers, urban planners, contractors, and other architects within or outside the company.
• Oversees the quality of architectural work, timelines, and materials used.
• Coordinates with team leaders for architectural finishing work.
• Provides pre-project services, including feasibility studies and other research.
• Tracks and coordinates compliance with architectural projects in conjunction with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines;
• Leads and monitors the preparation of project estimates (civil, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic) as per client changes.
• Prepares and coordinates work for the creation of detail manuals and standard manuals for design, as required by the company.
• Develops structures, drawings, and plans in compliance with investor requirements and applicable laws/regulations.
• Ensures that the necessary materials (documents) for sales albums, area coordination, and compliance with relevant standards are available.
• Upon Project Managers’ request, reviews and comments on technical solutions for change orders (COs) or project optimizations.
• Familiar with and implements company procedures with subcontractors.
• Supports and tracks contracts for subcontractor designers within the company.
• Coordinates and provides necessary information to the Finance Department regarding project progress and billing.
• Reports on the unit’s activities according to established standards and deadlines.
• Prepares the annual and quarterly activity plan and tracks progress according to the plan.
• Periodically reviews legislation and publications in the Official Gazette.
• In collaboration with the HR department, prepares performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Leads the Technical Support Unit:
  1. Determines staffing needs, organizes work, and approves tasks in coordination with the Technical Director.
  2. Manages and monitors task implementation.
  3. Guides subordinates in their work processes.
  4. Provides continuous feedback to the team.
  5. Tracks their progress and development, providing technical assistance, monitoring work progress, and conducting performance evaluations.

Education: Master’s degree in Architecture.

Requirements:

• 7 years of experience in design.
• Ability to suggest solutions and make decisions.
• Critical ability in design details, expressed in both functional and aesthetic aspects.
• Ability to coordinate work and related projects.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Strong management, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Excellent command of the English language; knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of construction work legislation.
• Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, ETABS, and other similar technical programs.
• Ability to manage and safeguard technical data and projects in compliance with internal company procedures and data protection legislation.
