Job position: Visual Merchandiser

A Visual Merchandiser is a specialized person who creates and maintains store displays to make products visually appealing to consumers. They also keep an eye on current trends to keep things relevant to shoppers. The goal is to design and display retail products in a way that maximizes sales and enhances the customer experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the production, distribution and correct placement of promotional materials for the Neptun store network and partner brands, in collaboration with the Marketing Coordinators.
- Responsible for controlling the exposure and presentation of products and categories
- on the surface of the stores, in accordance with the trading instructions.
- Coordinates and controls all actions, initiatives, plans and trade agreements with partners, suppliers and third parties (Pops, stands, catalogs, etc.)
- Monitors the prices and displayed products of the competition, as appropriate.
- Works with other departments to develop and implement company merchandising programs (retail plans and strategies) to support seasonal and promotional launches.
- Research and compiles plans and best possible field placement of promotional materials and ways to display products for maximum impact in the sales environment.
- On a specific basis, education and training of store staff according to brands and
- the concept of trading products.
- Prepares and presents clear, well-organized reports and presentations, suggesting further visual improvements, for categories and brands in accordance with the requirements and goals of the commercial/marketing department.
- Takes care of the display of digital content in the stores according to the instructions received from the Marketing Coordinators.
- Defines , designs, and implements in cooperation with Commercial and Sales Managers a creative visual merchandising strategy.
- Preparing the planogram visualization; Modifying planograms and ensure changes are synchronized across all store formats (The correct placement of products in space; is one of the most important factors influencing purchasing decisions and customer experience);
- Create planograms specifically for promotional products to facilitate targeted marketing initiatives
- Planning categories into targeted zones : a) routine, B) seasonal and C) complementary typologies, on the sales floor as a key tool for the customer journey through the entire store
- Preparing the retail floor plan – designs in cooperation with CM, the correct layout of product categories and selects the most suitable fittings in the sales area
- Defines the “trees” for each product’ category, based on customers’ behaviors and needs and positioning them to the already prepared floor plan
- Analyze the effectiveness of displays and monitor in cooperation with store managers the sales trend / per categories
- Revises planning demands based on historical data and other factors (i.e promotions)
Qualifications:
- Very good knowledge of the English language.
- Preferably with work experience in the Retail department.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Product knowledge and photographic memory.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Very good knowledge of computer and office programs.
- Energetic personality.
- Must be willing to travel at all times.
- Class B driving license.
