Job Position: Warehouse Worker
Department: Operations
Location: Tirana
Overview:
A Warehouse Worker is responsible for the physical stock of the store, maintenance, and
operation of the warehouse as an operational function. This includes receiving supplies,
handling and shipping transfers, organizing and maintaining categories, and managing the
circulation of goods both in the warehouse and the store. They prepare products based on
orders for the sales floor.
Main Responsibilities
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized, ensuring daily maintenance.
• Continuously organize the category for which they are responsible or as delegated
by the warehouse supervisor.
• Prepare item orders for departments as required.
• Ensure that products are not damaged during movement within the warehouse and
are ready for sale in perfect condition.
• Accept deliveries according to the instructions of the warehouse supervisor.
• Unload trucks using the company’s equipment.
• Perform system checks (Dflex and Nav) for deliveries using handheld terminals
(motorola, palmar) based on box counts.
• Open and inspect any suspicious boxes for defects, shortages, or other physical
issues, following the warehouse supervisor’s guidelines and previous experiences.
• Separate new samples according to procedures applied during the delivery
acceptance process in Jumbo warehouses.
• Store items after receiving the supply and distributing orders.
• Prepare the physical transfer of products as requested by management or the
warehouse supervisor.
• Accept transfers from other Jumbo stores, verifying the accompanying invoice and
the corresponding quantity of goods.
• Store products from closed seasonal categories.
• Assist in preparing transfers of seasonal category codes to the central warehouse.
• Be well-acquainted with the supplier codes for each product category.
• When in contact with customers, provide high-quality service according to company
standards and/or ask for assistance from floor staff to direct the customer
appropriately.
• Handle work-related problems situationally, avoid misunderstandings, and seek
help from supervisors if necessary.
• Report any issues related to products to the supervisor/store manager.
• Report any breakdowns or incidents immediately to the supervisor/store manager.
• Adhere to the company’s internal regulations, ensuring proper dress code and
behavior at work.
• Greet and assist customers immediately upon contact.
• Help train new staff when requested by the supervisor and share information with
both new and existing department staff.
• Provide feedback on the performance of newly assigned staff during training.
• Collaborate with colleagues during operational tasks in-store and maintain a
cooperative spirit with other departments, supervisors, store management, and
security personnel.
Competencies and Requirements
• High school or higher education
• At least one year of experience in warehousing.
• Knowledge of the English language and/or other languages would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is an advantage.

• Ability to understand product codes and their properties.
