JUMBO Bosnia and Herzegovina, in collaboration with Mane Foundation and World Vision, has launched the “Their Dreams Need Your Support” initiative. This program is designed to help children in need by providing opportunities for education and personal growth.
Currently, the initiative supports 15 children from some of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most vulnerable communities, giving them the chance to transform their futures. Launched in August 2024 and running until May 2025, the program aims to address key challenges such as financial hardship, limited access to quality education, and a lack of extracurricular opportunities.
The scholarships not only focus on academic achievement but also foster personal development, resilience, and self-confidence. Recipients were selected by World Vision based on their financial need, educational barriers, and potential growth. Despite facing challenges like social exclusion, developmental difficulties, and limited resources, these children show remarkable resilience and promise.
The program covers both educational expenses and extracurricular activities, ensuring that each child has the necessary resources to pursue their dreams. In addition to financial support, participants receive access to educational tools, mentorship, and development opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. Regular progress monitoring will ensure that the children receive the ongoing support needed to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
