On July 15, Jumbo opened the 5th store in Kosovo, in the city of Ferizaj. With the participation of hundreds of citizens not only from Ferizaj but also from the surrounding municipalities was held the inauguration ceremony, attended by the Prime Minister of Kosovo Mr. Ramush Haradinaj.
During his speech, Mr. Haradinaj expressed special thanks to Balfin Group and Kidzone Kosova for the investments in his country, and praised Jumbo’s investment in Ferizaj, which was about 1 000 000 Euros and contributed in the employment of 40 employees only in Ferizaj.
Two children, the most faithful Jumbos customers, carried out the symbolic cut of the inauguration ribbon as per request of the Prime Minister of Kosovo while Mr.Ramush Haradinaj himself made the first purchase.
Within the four-year period, Jumbo Kosovo has grown very fast and just after its first opening in Fushë Kosovë on 28 November 2014, Jumbo opened3 other stores in Pristina, Prizren and Gjilan. 1 year from the opening of Gjilan store, Jumbo opened this weekend the 5th shop in Ferizaj and within August will open the 6th one in Mitrovica.
Kid Zone Kosovo counts more than 200 employees only in Kosovo and this number will increase with the opening of new stores.
