A day at SOS Children’s Village Tirana has become a lovely tradition for Jumbo as they have made their return. In the spirit of giving and community support, Jumbo has proudly continued its tradition of spreading joy and essentials to the children of SOS Children’s Village Tirana. This annual initiative exemplifies the commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those who need it most.
This ongoing commitment focuses on identifying and fulfilling the specific needs and wishes of the children, ranging from everyday essentials such as clothing, school supplies, and hygiene products to special gifts that add an extra sparkle to their day. But what is most special about this partnership is the employees’ voluntary engagement, who choose to spend a day personally delivering goods and playing with the children at SOS Village premises.
“The visit to SOS Children’s Village has now become a tradition for the Jumbo staff, which we anticipate with great pleasure. Every year we try to bring a smile to their faces with products to fulfill their needs and personalized gifts for this special day,” says Erjon Alku, Marketing Coordinator at Jumbo.
20 of Jumbo’s dedicated operational and administrative staff members participated in this initiative as they spent quality time with children engaging in various activities. They demonstrated the belief that giving back is not just a responsibility, but a privilege and an integral part of what Jumbo represents.
“We are committed to contributing to the well-being and happiness of children, and we hope that our efforts make them feel special and loved,” continued Alku.
The SOS Children’s Village in Tirana expressed their gratitude to Jumbo for their continuous support and their full involvement in this initiative as they took the opportunity to document the joyful moments between them and the children.
