2025 marked a year of real impact for Mane Foundation, with initiatives reaching communities across Albania and the region. This progress was driven by strong cooperation with public institutions and international organizations, and strengthened by the active engagement of BALFIN Group companies, helping turn shared purpose into measurable results.
Established in 2023, Mane Foundation builds on BALFIN Group’s long-standing tradition of social engagement and the commitment of its founder, Samir Mane. Guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and informed by the experience of leading international organizations, the Foundation focuses its work on five pillars: Education and Youth, Health & Well-being, Fight Against Poverty and Inequalities, Environment, and Arts & Culture.
In Education and Youth, the Foundation invested in young people through programs such as B4Students, combining skills-development sessions, real-world learning, and scholarship support, often delivered with the direct involvement of BALFIN Group experts and companies.
In Health & Well-being, Mane Foundation advanced one of its boldest commitments: a nationwide initiative, implemented with “Fundjavë Ndryshe”, to ensure that no person from the paraplegic and tetraplegic community is left without a wheelchair, moving toward a total of 1,000 wheelchairs. Support for improved healthcare continued as well, alongside a clear commitment that the impactful work carried out at the Oncology Hospital of the “Mother Teresa” University Hospital Center in Tirana will continue elsewhere too. Across the region, BALFIN Group companies such as Neptun and Jumbo also contributed through targeted support and upgrades that improved care and daily life.
The Foundation also continued its efforts in Fight Against Poverty and Inequalities, Environment, and Arts & Culture, supporting initiatives that promote dignity, sustainability, and cultural development, including the continued strengthening of the Gallery of Contemporary Art Tirana (GOCAT) as a leading platform for contemporary art.
