Mane Foundation has continued its initiative to provide wheelchairs to paraplegic and tetraplegic individuals across Albania. The mission behind this effort is clear: to support people with mobility challenges in living easier, more independent lives and to promote their full inclusion in society.

After successfully distributing 270 wheelchairs in Tirana, the next stop was the city of Vlora, where 170 more were donated to beneficiaries from across the region. The event took place at the “Flamurtari” Sports Palace, where dozens of recipients and their families gathered to receive this essential tool for daily movement and independence.

This important initiative has been made possible thanks to the vision and continuous support of Mr. Samir Mane, founder of Mane Foundation, whose dedication has been fundamental to its realization and nationwide reach.
In his remarks during the ceremony, Erion Ndrecka, Executive Director of Mane Foundation, emphasized the broader purpose of the project:

“We started this initiative in Tirana, and today we are in Vlora to donate around 200 wheelchairs to the paraplegic and tetraplegic community of the region. Our objective is to ensure their integration into society and enable a dignified life for every individual.”
Wheelchairs will also be delivered directly to those who could not attend the ceremony, ensuring that no one in need is left behind. The initiative, carried out in cooperation with Fundjavë Ndryshe, will continue to other cities in the coming months.
Since its establishment, Mane Foundation has contributed to vital fields such as education, youth empowerment, culture, environmental protection, and social welfare. Through ongoing projects and partnerships with local and international institutions, the foundation continues to build a more equal society, one where every person has the opportunity to live with dignity, independence, and hope.
