A network bridge between film enthusiasts and filmmakers worldwide. With the support of Neptun Kosovo from the BALFIN Group, this was the 16th edition of the Prishtina International Festival (PriFest).
Over 580 filmmakers from Kosovo, the region, and around the world came together for the 16th edition of PriFest.
Over the course of five days (September 10-15), they presented their film projects at the Kino Armata cultural center and participated in a variety of workshops, discussions, and sessions, including activities organized by PriForum—a regional platform for the development of the film industry, with strong support from Neptun Kosovo.
PriForum not only provides film enthusiasts with a genuine artistic and educational journey but also invests in networking opportunities between local filmmakers and international industry experts.
Among these experts were Alejandro de la Fuente and Daniel Hoceva, who, along with representatives from the company, awarded the “Neptun Prize” to the project “The Pigeons” by Kosovo producer and director Ujkan Hysaj.
The success of PriFest drew approximately 13,000 attendees to the film screenings and engaged over 16,000 visitors in the various organized activities.
This significant interest mirrors the festival’s increasing quality and its commitment to enhancing the diversity of artistic and educational experiences within the film industry.
Neptun Kosovo was also a key partner for two cultural events organized by PriFest in April 2024: PriGlobal (International Film Week) and PriDox (National Film Week).
