Neptun supports Jonathan Center, online therapy for children with Down syndrome enabled

NEPTUN has equipped Jonathan Center with numerous laptops in order to the NGO to continue online therapy and counseling for 85 families who have children with Down syndrome between the ages from 4 months to 36 years.

Helping with education and counseling for children with Down syndrome is not easy. In addition to dealing with children with special needs, it remains a fact that families or even organizations dedicated to this target-group, more than once, struggle with time to obtain the necessary support to continue working with their therapeutic, which children desperately need.

Help,  however small, should not be just a desire, but a need and a task for individuals in general, and for businesses in particular.

Dealing with Covid 19 is a global challenge. We are all already learning to adapt to new conditions by changing our lifestyle, the way we behave and work.

For children with Down syndrome, and for all those who are committed in helping them, this is an even greater challenge because work with these children does not stop.

NEPTUN has been and will continue to be committed to this social issue, as part of the focused and already consolidated policies of Balfin Group on corporate social responsibility.

Balfin Group is one of the few Albanian companies that focuses on the sustainable development of the communities in which it operates, adhering to the SGD (Sustainable Development Goals), the United Nations goals, for which the Group has drawn up a true and own action plan following in the footsteps of many international companies.

In the last year alone, Balfin has allocated over 1 million euros to various social causes, where a significant part of the amount went to people affected by the strong earthquake of November 26, 2019, or even to those affected by financial or social consequences of Covid 19.
