Spar Albania has decided to make happy the community of the Streha Center in Tirana on the eve of the New Year.

“Representatives of the company were present in the premises of this center, where they handed over gift packages to needy families treated with social assistance by the municipality of Tirana, some of whom are also full-time residents in this Center.

Spar contributes with the food supply throughout the whole year for the center, but in addition, this time the residents of the center have been given the traditional end of the year holiday packages at, so that they can spend the New Year as happy as possible.

SPAR focuses on social responsibility and is also the main partner of the World Vision Albania project “Tungjatjeta… Jete”, which focuses on children with disabilities in the most remote areas of Albania.

Thanks to this cooperation, funds raised have provided for 72 children about 2048 services and various therapy sessions, such as speech therapy, developmental therapy, psychotherapy, physiotherapy, etc. Parents of children are also informed and trained to better understand the specific needs of children and how to better help them develop. So far the project has been extended to the area of Dibra, Librazhd, Prrenjas and Bulqiza in Albania.
