Position:           Mechanical Engineer

Location:          Tirana

Summary: The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design and development of mechanical systems for new construction projects, as well as for coordinating all mechanical and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) services both before and during the implementation phase.

They oversee the installation of relevant systems to ensure compliance with the project design, technical standards, and legal requirements.

The role includes preparing cost estimates and managing the implementation process to ensure that the project is completed within budget and on schedule, in alignment with investor requirements and applicable legislation.

Main Responsibilities:

• Designs mechanical and MEP systems for development projects;
• Designs, adjusts, or completes projects in accordance with client requests or required changes;
• Provides technical support throughout all project phases: from concept design, implementation, to final commissioning;
• Supervises on-site implementation to ensure work is carried out according to technical specifications and project documentation;
• Prepares and coordinates all necessary technical and legal documentation for obtaining the required permits from local authorities;
• Reviews and prepares cost estimates for mechanical and MEP installations, including full budgeting for new and client-based projects;
• Identifies local or international material suppliers and coordinates with other departments regarding material selection;
• Prepares permit application files and ensures their timely submission to the relevant institutions;
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Education: University degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in designing and implementing HVAC and MEP systems;
• Strong ability to coordinate HVAC works on-site;
• Advanced skills in technical drafting, programming, installation, and testing of mechanical systems;
• Excellent knowledge of the processes and materials related to the covered disciplines;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proficiency in technical software such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc.
