BALFIN Group

BALFIN Group is a leading cross-border investment group with a diversified portfolio and an expanding footprint across Europe and North America. Founded in Vienna in 1993 by Samir Mane, the Group has grown from a single trading venture into a multi-industry platform operating in 13 countries across two continents: Austria, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia, Switzerland, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Moldova, Serbia, Canada, and the United States.

The Group’s portfolio spans banking, real estate, retail, asset management, tourism, logistics, education, energy, and entertainment. Rather than treating diversification as a hedge, BALFIN Group builds ecosystems in which each sector strengthens the others, turning breadth into a source of compounding growth. This approach has translated into consistent financial performance, with the Group reporting a consolidated EBITDA of €163 million (2025).

That growth is carried forward by the people who make it possible: approximately 5,000 professionals from 24 nationalities, whose expertise has driven the Group’s development for more than three decades. BALFIN Group’s strength rests on a foundation of scale, financial stability, reliable partnerships, and a consistent commitment to innovation, ethics, and people.

Since 2023, this commitment has been channeled through the Mane Foundation, which consolidates the Group’s social investment and community empowerment initiatives.
