Job Position:                Finance Supervisor

Department:                 Finance Department  

Location:                      Tirana

The Finance Supervisor ensures recording of all financial transactions, reconciliation of ledgers and accounts, performance of payments and to support overall the Finance Manager’s work.

Main Responsibilities

       Monthly control- of the book of purchase and sale, VAT, coefficient of correction and VAT, payable and social security and TAP, withholding tax, local taxes, etc.

       Reconciliation of PL and balance accounts and performing all necessary accounting such as expenses, income, accruals and provisions but not limited to them to ensure the closing of monthly statements and reports.

       Control of the cash balance, actions of cash registers and banks in accordance with the procedures in force and the relevant reporting calendar.

       Maintain banking relationship for day-to-day operations and proper management of bank accounts

       Ensure that actual costs are booked correctly per project/department and/or cost centers, and overall project results and profitability are tracked and reported accurately and timely.

       Control and assure the requirement of the fixed asset management procedure of the companies are completed.

       Completing the necessary documentation according to legal requirements regarding the avoidance of double taxation, transfer pricing and any other legal and tax requirements in accordance with the deadlines set in the relevant laws and regulations.

       Control monthly and annual reports of related parties as well as ensure timely reconciliation with group companies before posting in the ICO System (Bird) and periodically optimization; Prepare reports such as: MMR, Cash Flow, annual statements according to IFRS, other required tax or managerial reports respecting the reporting calendar or legal and contractual deadlines.

       Control and post monthly declaration with the tax online system

       Follows and coordinates operational actions with the banks and companies of the Group.

       Cooperates with other departments for the best enforcement and implementation of fiscal legislation as well as the review of contracts for their financial terms.

       Prepare draft budget and detailed files for the company’s annual budget or revisions of the latter.

       Collaborates with the Manager of the Finance Department to change the company’s procedures and operations and prepare memos to clarify different processes.

       Manage, control & supervise the staff under direct reporting line.

Requirements

Competencies and Requirements

       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

       Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is strongly preferred

       5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial controlling

       Ability to prepare and review financial statements with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

       Advanced Excel and Financial Reporting Skills

       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

       Ability to manage deadlines and ensure compliance

       Experience managing or supervising accounting staff

       Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments
