Job position: Junior Sales Accountant & Receivables Controller
Department: Finance
Reports to: Finance Director
Location: Tirana
Position Overview:
The Junior Sales Accountant & Receivables Controller is responsible for monitoring the accounting operations related to company sales and ensuring compliance with company financial procedures through periodic and ad hoc shop controls, including the review of sales documentation, cash handling, and other related financial processes. He/She ensures that all sales & related transactions are properly recorded and reported in a timely fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily control of sales in the sales system and compare turnovers in the accounting system.
- Perform daily control of sales in the accounting system and compare with sales in the Self-Care fiscalization system, and assist in reconciling and preparing sales books.
- Perform ad hoc controls of shop operations and sales documentation to ensure compliance with accounting procedures and company policies.
- Control & Reconcile sales with vouchers.
- Manages cash transactions related to HQ.
- Issue / Assist business units for sales operations related to the finance department.
- Assist during internal/external audit of the company.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals.
Requests:
- University Diploma – Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or Professional Accounting
- Excellent verbal communication skills and written both in Albanian and English.
Other qualifications:
- Minimum 1 years of experience in accounting;
- Sound knowledge in local Tax laws and regulations,
- Strong accounting background
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft office tools,
- Knowledge of accounting ERPs (ex: Navision, Finance 5, Alpha);
- Organized and detail oriented;
- Good analytical and decision-making skills;
- Excellent communication ability;
