Position:        Finance Officer

Location:        Tirana

Summary: He/She is responsible for verifying and recording purchase and sales invoices, ensuring their compliance with current fiscal legislation and the company’s internal procedures.

Additionally, He/She is in charge of monitoring client contracts and collections, ensuring consistency between contractual terms and actual payments.

He/She also reviews and analyzes in detail the monthly expenses and revenues of the assigned projects to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Main Responsibilities:

• Verify, record, and monitor purchase and sales invoices, ensuring full compliance with contracts, supporting documentation, and company policies;
• Perform monthly accounting entries for all financial transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and legislation;
• Monitor and analyze monthly expenses and revenues for assigned projects and prepare corresponding financial reports;
• Follow up on client contracts and collections, ensuring alignment between contractual terms and received payments;
• Prepare profit and loss reports by project and analyze project financial performance;
• Collaborate closely with other departments to verify the financial documentation of ongoing projects;
• Assist in the preparation of monthly tax declarations, including purchase and sales books, VAT, and withholding tax;
• Participate in the monthly and annual closing processes of financial statements and the preparation of the balance sheet;
• Ensure the accurate filing, organization, and archiving of accounting documentation in accordance with company procedures;
• Maintain and manage communication with suppliers and clients regarding invoices, payments, and other financial matters.

Education: University Degree in Finance/Accouting

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of professional experience in a relevant accounting or finance role;
• Solid knowledge of the New National Accounting Standards (SNK);
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision;
• Demonstrated initiative, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
• Strong problem-solving orientation, with the ability to follow issues through to full resolution;
• Good practical knowledge of Financa 5 and/or Microsoft Dynamics NAV software;
• English language proficiency is preferred;
• Previous experience in a construction or investment company will be considered an advantage.
