Overview
The position is the highest executive authority of Fuego International, responsible for defining and executing the company’s strategy, ensuring strong corporate governance, and driving sustainable growth and profitability.

The role ensures alignment with shareholder expectations and BALFIN Group strategic direction, while leading brand development, regional expansion, and operational excellence across markets, particularly within the consumer electronics and private label segment.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership & Governance
  • Define and lead the execution of the company’s long-term strategy in alignment with Shareholders and BALFIN Group priorities.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and corporate governance frameworks across all jurisdictions.
  • Act as the legal representative of the company in all contractual, financial, and institutional matters.
  • Submit for approval to the Supervisory Board:
    • Annual Business Plans and Budgets
    • Major investments and strategic initiatives
    • Key performance targets aligned with Group expectations
  1. Organizational Leadership & Performance Management
  • Lead, supervise, and develop the executive team (Sales, Marketing, Product, Logistics, Finance, etc.).
  • Establish efficient organizational structures, governance processes, and performance management systems.
  • Ensure clear accountability, KPIs, and performance tracking across all functions.
  • Drive a high-performance culture aligned with BALFIN values (Accountability, Innovation, Partnership).
  1. Brand & Commercial Development
  • Oversee the strategic development and positioning of FUEGO and HOOBART brands.
  • Define and execute regional expansion strategies across the Balkans and EU markets.
  • Lead private label strategy, including product portfolio, pricing, and go-to-market execution.
  • Ensure competitiveness through market intelligence, benchmarking, and innovation.
  1. Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary liaison with shareholders (Neptun Macedonia, Neptun Kosovo, HoldCo Kosovo / BALFIN Group).
  • Ensure strong alignment with Group companies and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Represent the company in high-level negotiations, partnerships, and investor relations.
  1. Operational Oversight & Integration
  • Oversee end-to-end operations including supply chain, logistics, brand management, and financial performance.
  • Ensure efficient logistics setup (including warehouse strategy, 3PL management, and regional distribution).
  • Drive operational integration across markets and functions to ensure scalability and efficiency.
  • Lead risk management, business continuity planning, and mitigation strategies

 

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in business administration, Economics, Retail Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of senior leadership experience in large-scale international retail or consumer electronics companies.
  • Proven track record of driving growth through innovation and efficiency, leading international teams, and managing multi-country operations.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strategic and analytical thinking with strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of omnichannel retail, digital platforms, and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent financial and business acumen.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High adaptability to diverse cultural, operational, and regulatory environments.
