Job Position:       Senior Treasury Specialist (Cash Flow and Analysis)

Reports to:          Treasury Manager

Overview

Assists the Treasury Manager in funding and liquidity management, collateral management, investment analysis, and other financial matters. Manages and executes treasury functions including bank relationships, cash operations, and investments. Ensures compliance with treasury policies and regulatory requirements. Oversees daily operations, data management, budgeting, reporting, and banking across the organization.

Main Responsibilities

Cash Flow Management

  • Lead the preparation, consolidation, and monitoring of cash flow forecasts across all Group companies.
  • Analyze cash inflows and outflows to identify trends, inefficiencies, and funding needs.
  • Ensure that liquidity targets are met and that excess cash is efficiently utilized.
  • Review daily and periodic cash positions prepared by the Junior Treasury Specialist.
  • Provide recommendations to the Treasury Manager for optimizing working capital.
  • Ensure optimal investment of Group temporary liquidity surpluses in line with Group strategies and objectives.

Liquidity & Intercompany Transactions

  • Monitor intercompany funding arrangements, ensuring optimal use of internal cash resources.
  • Analyze and oversee intercompany payment arrangements and dividend flows.
  • Coordinate with Group finance teams to manage short-term and long-term funding requirements.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Perform treasury-related financial analyses including interest, debt exposure, and liquidity ratios.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports on cash flow, liquidity, and treasury KPIs.
  • Support financial modeling and scenario analysis for budgeting, capital planning, and stress testing.
  • Assist the Treasury Manager in preparing presentations and recommendations for management.

Operational Oversight

  • Supervise daily cash operations in coordination with the Junior Treasury Specialist.
  • Ensure that treasury activities align with the Group’s approved budgets and financing strategy.
  • Collaborate with Group finance departments to improve forecasting accuracy and reporting consistency.

Compliance & Internal Control

  • Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies, cash handling procedures, and control standards.
  • Support the continuous improvement of cash management systems and processes.
  • Ensure timely identification and reporting of variances or liquidity risks.

 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or Finance required
  • More than 3 years previous experience with a local bank as a financial analyst, account manager, risk, or project finance with extended knowledge in all credit processes.
  • Knowledge of investment portfolio products, banking, and financial instruments.
  • Strong analytical/quantitative skills and experience with a multi-site organization.
  • Experience in presenting and preparing proposals and recommendations.
  • Very attentive to details.
  • Strongly result oriented, able to work unsupervised.
  • Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills.
  • Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills.
  • Excellent command of English language.
