Aldina, take us behind the scenes of your journey at BALFIN Group. What’s the story of how you came on board and what’s kept you excited to stay?

My journey with BALFIN Group began in November 2021, right after graduating from the Faculty of Economics. I joined Kid Zone as an intern in the Finance Department, eager to apply my academic knowledge in a real business environment. From the very beginning, I was actively involved in daily financial and accounting tasks, which helped me build a strong practical foundation.

During my first year, I grew both professionally and personally, and I was promoted to Junior Finance Officer. As my responsibilities increased and I continued developing my expertise, I was promoted to Accounting Specialist in April 2024, a role I proudly hold today at Jumbo Bosnia and Herzegovina.

What has kept me excited is the continuous opportunity to learn, the trust I’ve been given, and the dynamic environment that encourages growth and development.

Was there a moment when you thought, “I absolutely made the right choice joining BALFIN Group”?

I realized I had made the right decision when I saw that my efforts were consistently recognized through trust and opportunities for advancement. After completing my internship, I was given greater responsibilities and the chance to continue developing within the department.

That trust meant a lot to me. It showed that BALFIN Group truly invests in its people. The company’s stability, clear procedures, and professional environment confirmed that this is a place where I can build a long-term career.

What’s your proudest achievement at BALFIN Group?

My proudest achievement is my continuous professional growth, from intern to Accounting Specialist. This journey reflects my dedication, responsibility, and reliability.

I’m especially proud that today I independently handle complex accounting and financial tasks with a high level of accuracy and respect for deadlines. Earning the trust of my superiors and colleagues and becoming someone the team can fully rely on is my greatest accomplishment.

Tell us about a recent win that left a personal mark on you.

One of my most meaningful achievements has been developing the ability to independently manage tasks and make decisions within my area of responsibility. From my internship until today, I have steadily strengthened my practical knowledge and skills.

This growth has enhanced my organizational abilities, discipline, and professional maturity. Beyond career progression, it represents personal development, becoming more confident and capable in my role.

My best day at work is when I feel confident and secure in what I am doing. When priorities are clearly defined and I successfully complete complex accounting tasks, knowing that the data is accurate and reliable, it gives me a strong sense of satisfaction.

It means a lot to know that my colleagues trust my work and that I have contributed meaningfully to the team. Days like these reassure me that I am in the right place and motivate me to keep improving.

What message would you like to share with everyone reading this?

I truly believe that effort and responsibility always bring results. Every challenge is an opportunity to learn and grow. It’s important to believe in yourself, stay consistent, and give your best in every task. Growth doesn’t happen overnight, but with dedication and persistence, success will follow.
