Mane Foundation and Neptun renovate the programming and computational physics laboratory at the Faculty of Natural Sciences

Mane Foundation continues its long-term contribution to the country’s education system. This time, together with Neptun, it has made possible the renovation of the Programming and Computational Physics Laboratory at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana.

The laboratory serves students enrolled in the Bachelor’s programs in Physics and Physics & Computer Science, as well as those pursuing Master’s studies in Physics. It is also valuable for students of Data Science and Computer Engineering, benefiting around 100 students during the academic year.

The Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Eglantina Kalluçi, emphasized that “theoretical developments in lecture halls have the potential to transform into practical solutions for the business world, with the support of such collaborations that bring together academia and business.”

The laboratory also supports scientific research thanks to its direct connection with the high-performance computing cluster located within the same faculty. It represents a modern technological infrastructure that enables complex simulations, advanced data analysis, and the development of international projects.

The Executive Director of Neptun in Albania, Evis Tartale, considers this contribution the beginning of a multifaceted collaboration, including opportunities for student internships within the company.

For Mane Foundation, education is one of its main areas of focus, driven by the belief in supporting the personal and professional development of students.
