Overview

The Compliance Officer supports the supervisor by reviewing and assessing new or ongoing projects that require regulatory approvals or involve legal interactions. The role focuses on identifying compliance requirements, evaluating legal risks, and ensuring that all project submissions meet legal and procedural standards. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, the Compliance Officer helps enable timely, accurate decision‑making for projects across the organization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze new and/or on-going projects within the group companies or by partners on a case-by-case basis in the framework of legal relationships established related to public and  private entities.
  • Ensures the proper classification according to its future intended purpose, assesses applicable incentives and /or benefits opportunities provided by the legal framework.
  • Conducts preliminary assessments of processes and respective documentation while handling related administrative components.
  • Follows-up actions, additions, and amendments to the proper classification of projects under implementation to match the appropriate practices to address the case.
  • Supports in the business opportunity evaluation indicators research, including but not limited to analysis of processes of projects aiming to commercialize assets through development. (public, private or combination of both).
  • Ensures that the opportunity aligns with government economic strategies and the applicable legal framework that supports specific sectors and public–private partnership models through incentives, streamlined procedures, or other forms of facilitation
  • Drafts requests, official letters, memos, analyses, and other documents to evaluate and advance respective business opportunities

 

 

Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements
  • At least 5 years of work experience in legal associate or similar positions
  • Experience in conducting legal and other types of research, focused on identifying information that forms assumptions for projects, fiscal incentives, development forecasts in various business sectors, project classification, and coordination of procedural steps.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret legal frameworks and administrative procedures.
  • Ability to present ideas clearly and to influence respective decision making through good presentation skills.
  • Applies critical thinking to evaluate options and adapt solutions to best fit the specific context.
  • Flexibility to travel in order to perform on-site visits.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Handles matters with a practical and action‑oriented mindset
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language.
