Ilir, take us behind the scenes of your journey at BALFIN Group. How did you come on board, and what keeps you motivated?
My journey at BALFIN Group started in December 2022 when I joined Jumbo as a Warehouse Supervisor at the TEG store. Over time, my dedication and eagerness to contribute were recognized, and in October 2023, I was promoted to Operational Controller overseeing the entire Jumbo network in Albania. After about two years in that role, in June 2025, I became Store Manager at Jumbo TEG, the largest Jumbo store in Albania.
What keeps me motivated every day is the dynamic nature of the work, continuous professional growth, and the culture of appreciation and support that BALFIN Group provides.

Was there a defining moment when you knew you made the right choice joining BALFIN Group?
Yes, that moment was when I was promoted to Operational Controller. It made me realize that my work had been truly seen and valued at higher levels. It was a proud moment and a clear confirmation that I had made the right choice. BALFIN Group gives you space to grow if you are committed.

What’s your proudest achievement at BALFIN Group?
My proudest achievement is being appointed Store Manager at Jumbo TEG. It’s a challenging role in a strategic location, and the trust placed in me by the company speaks volumes. This is not just a professional achievement but a responsibility I embrace with great passion.

Tell us about a recent win that boosted your career and left a personal mark.
A recent win was improving operational processes and communication across the Jumbo stores while I was Operational Controller. This role helped me build bridges between teams and directly contributed to increased efficiency. It was more than career success; it was personal growth in leadership and interpersonal skills.

My best day at work was when I was informed about my promotion to Store Manager. That day represented all the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices I had made. It gave me new motivation and strengthened my belief that every effort pays off.
