Position: Civil Engineer

Job Summary: The Civil Engineer implements the directives of the Site Manager and oversees the works in compliance with the project, technical specifications, and KTZ, applicable legislation in force, and occupational health and safety conditions.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and supervise the execution of civil works on site, in compliance with approved designs, contracts, and technical standards.
• Review and verify coordination between architectural, structural, MEP, and infrastructure designs, identifying discrepancies and proposing technical solutions.
• Coordinate and organize site activities by planning work fronts and aligning activities with internal teams and subcontractors.
• Monitor the construction schedule and report progress, issues, and deviations from the plan.
• Ensure quality control of work, materials, and construction processes in accordance with QA/QC standards and HSE regulations.
• Track, verify, and prepare all technical and legal documentation on site, including site records, measurement books, progress statements, and reports.
• Approve materials to be implemented on site and monitor the quality of supplies.
• Participate in inspections and handover procedures and prepare snag/punch lists for incomplete or non-compliant work.
• Manage and verify quantities of executed work, monitor costs, and follow up on bill of quantities, including additional or unforeseen works.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on construction progress and technical issues.

Education: University degree in Civil Engineering.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 (seven) years of documented professional experience in civil works (structural works and finishes).
• Ability to read, understand, and coordinate MEP drawings, and to effectively interface with related disciplines.
• Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings, contracts, business correspondence, procedures, and technical manuals.
• Proven ability to manage and follow up on construction projects and related contracts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present issues and prepare technical and operational reports.
• Good knowledge and practical use of software tools such as AutoCAD, Excel, MS Project, Revit, etc.
