Job Position: IT Operations Manager
Department: Information Systems
Location: Tirana
The IT Operations Manager leads and continuously improves our IT infrastructure and operational services. This role ensures business continuity, system reliability, and secure IT operations across the Group, with a strong focus on retail environments.
Main Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day IT operations and infrastructure (networks, servers, endpoints, POS, VoIP)
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems
Manages service-based contracts, evaluates vendor performance, and assists in renewing contracts
Lead Help Desk operations and end-user support services
Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with security standards and internal policies
Support and participate in IT and digital transformation projects
Acts as the bridge between operational teams, customers, and other stakeholders, ensuring services meet or exceed expectations
Requirements
Competencies and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Proven experience in IT Operations, System & Network Administration, Service Delivery
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Responsive and reliable in fast-moving operational contexts
Excels when managing tight timelines and critical deliverables
Experience in retail or business-critical environments is a plus
