Job position:             System and Network Team Leader

Overview of the Role

The System and Network Team Leader is responsible for designing, installing, upgrading, and maintaining the corporate server and storage infrastructure, as well as providing technical support to users for issues related to these systems.

He/she ensures the stability, security, and efficiency of Information Systems across the organization.

Main Responsibilities

      Act as the system architect and provide technical expertise across all areas of IT systems architecture.

      Install and maintain servers and storage systems, including patches, updates, and OS upgrades.

      Manage and resolve Helpdesk requests related to systems infrastructure, security, installations, relocations, and other technical issues, providing support to Level 1 and Tier II as needed.

      Define Level 1 support protocols and workflows, including the preparation and continuous updating of manuals and procedures.

      Develop long-term capacity plans to ensure hardware resources meet system growth and new system requirements.

      Lead and contribute to the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of IT Security Policies, ensuring system security, data protection, and continuous monitoring for potential intrusions.

      Perform regular system backups and ensure critical system files and data are securely stored at designated locations.

      Create, modify, and delete user accounts based on operational requirements.

      Prepare and generate technical reports related to server activities.

      Maintain environmental monitoring systems in the data center.

      Automate IT operational processes to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Competencies and Requirements

      Minimum of five years of experience in a similar systems administration or infrastructure role.

      Relevant certifications, such as System Administrator, Microsoft 365, or equivalent industry‑recognized credentials.

      Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, including automation of administrative tasks and infrastructure processes.

      Strong expertise in Windows Server operating systems, including deployment, configuration, maintenance, and backup solutions.

      Solid knowledge of Storage systems, Hyper‑V virtualization, and Clustering technologies.

      Advanced analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capability to diagnose complex technical issues.

      Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

      Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet demanding deadlines.

      Proven track record of effective teamwork, contributing positively to shared objectives.

      Strong communication skills, with a consistently responsible, reliable, and professional approach.
