KIABI Albania Reaches €1 Million turnover and it’s just the beginning

Only a few months after entering the Albanian market, KIABI Albania has achieved a significant milestone: €1 million in turnover, marking an exceptional performance for a brand that is completely new in the country and currently operates with a single store.

This result reflects the strong potential of KIABI within the Western Balkans and validates the strategic decision of BALFIN Group to bring the renowned French brand to the region.

Interview with Redon Sholla- Executive Director of Western Balkans Fashion Group

To better understand the drivers behind this success, we spoke with Redon Sholla, who leads KIABI’s operations in Albania.

What does reach €1 million in turnover at this stage represent for you?

This achievement represents only the beginning. It is a reference point that proves we are heading in the right direction, but it also reminds us that expectations are high. Now begins the phase where we will invest even more in customer experience, expand our range, and strengthen our market presence. Achieving these results within just three months is a strong indicator of our potential and the tireless work of our team.

How has consumer response been during the first months?

Consumer reaction has been extremely positive. Customers appreciate the excellent price–quality ratio and the wide range of products. That’s why our goal is to improve every single day.

What makes KIABI stand out from other brands in the local market?

KIABI stands out because of its unbeatable price–quality ratio. Another strong point is the modern design of our collections, which makes every item not only functional, but also trendy and attractive for customers.

What role has the team played in achieving this milestone?

The team has been essential to this success. They ensured continuous product availability, efficient store operations, and strong brand communication, contributing directly to our excellent sales performance.

What are your expectations for the next phase?

Our aim is to grow KIABI’s presence not only in Albania, but across the region, bringing our family-oriented concept through both physical stores and online services. We will broaden our product range, enhance customer experience, and strengthen consumer loyalty, making KIABI the first choice for all family members. The journey ahead is long and challenging, but with the dedication of our team and the trust of our customers, I am confident we will achieve this vision.

The strong early performance of KIABI Albania demonstrates the brand’s relevance and the market’s readiness for international fashion concepts that combine affordability, quality, and modern design.

KIABI Kids opened its first store at Tirana East Gate (TEG) in august 2025, introducing a concept long missing from the market: modern, high-quality, affordable fashion for children, backed by one of Europe’s most successful retail families, Mulliez Group.

The opening attracted immediate attention from families, driven by the brand’s strong reputation, accessible pricing, and stylish collections, elements that continue to fuel its rapid growth today.
