Describe your professional journey at BALFIN Group/Jumbo
My journey with BALFIN Group/Jumbo started in September 2020. I stepped into this new world with no experience in the industry but with a strong will to learn and grow. What I found was more than just a job; I found a place that shaped me both professionally and personally. Over time, I embraced greater responsibilities, moving from store management to my current role as Area Manager. Every challenge became a steppingstone, and every milestone proved that commitment, passion, and perseverance truly make a difference.
What was the moment you knew you’d made the right decision to work at BALFIN Group
From the very first moment I stepped into an unfinished store, I felt I was in the right place. What once was an empty space is now a success story being written every single day. Through dedication, daily effort, and attention to detail, we’ve built not just a functional environment, but a culture of collaboration, mutual respect, and continuous growth. I’m inspired by the fact that every improvement, whether in processes, relationships, or service, is the result of teamwork. To me, that’s the true essence of success.
What’s something that happened that can only happen at BALFIN Group?
One of the most special experiences at Jumbo is the deep sense of unity that goes beyond any boundaries. Although our teams are spread from north to south, when we share a common goal, we come together as one, bound by shared energy, dedication, and vision. What are you most proud of in your career at BALFIN Group?
One of the most meaningful moments in my journey came at the beginning of 2025, when I was trusted with the position of Area Manager. At that time, I was temporarily covering the stores of Vlorë and Fier while my colleague was on maternity leave. According to procedure, I was expected to return to my previous role once she came back. But something unexpected happened, the company leaders offered me a new challenge: to take on the role of Area Manager. It was a moment that filled me with both excitement and motivation. It proved that dedication and results are truly recognized and rewarded. Even though the distance and daily challenges could have made this role seem out of reach, the trust I was given showed me that nothing is impossible.
