The fourth edition of BALFIN International Volleyball Championship has come to an end. Employees from BALFIN Group companies across all its countries took part in the event. This year, the four finalist teams were ACREM, Neptun Macedonia, BALFIN Construction, and Neptun Kosovo.
The semifinals and final matches were held at the “Feti Borova” Olympic Park in Tirana, where other Group employees were present to join in the atmosphere and excitement of the game.
In the final, ACREM faced Neptun Kosovo, and after a nearly evenly matched game, the ACREM team managed to win the fourth edition of BALFIN Group International Championship.
After the ACREM vs. Neptun Kosovo final match, the Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Edlira Muka, delivered a welcoming speech, highlighting the championship as a reminder of the strength that lies in teamwork, which is an important value for BALFIN.
“This event showed that teamwork is truly important. I am happy to see that even when we lose or don’t score points, we continue to support each other,” said the Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Edlira Muka, who then handed the championship trophy to the winners.
The captain of the winning team, ACREM, Artan Picari, said their victory was the result of dedication and hard work in preparation. He also added: “I value participation in this championship like any other, but this one is even more special because it involves companies from outside Albania, yet still part of BALFIN Group.”
This sports event had several other awards.
The “Best Female Player” award went to the captain of the Neptun Kosovo team, Drita Nivokazi, who considered the championship a “great opportunity to socialize with employees from other BALFIN Group companies and spend quality time outside the work routine.”
The “Best Male Player” award went to Elio Zhllima from ACREM.
The success of the fourth edition of BALFIN International Volleyball Championship opens the way for another edition, with the same enthusiasm and energy from the Group’s employees, eager to take part in an event that goes beyond just a love for sports.
