Tirana Logistic Park, the first logistic park in Albania

Construction for Albania’s first Logistics Park began with the groundbreaking ceremony held by Tirana Logistics Park.  With the push of a button the Prime Minister of Albania, His Excellency Dr Sali Berisha poured the first concrete for the foundation of the first warehouse.
Tirana Logistics Park is being developed in 2 phases, the first phase will consist of 3 warehouses with a total GLA of 48 000m² located on a plot of land of 114 000m². The warehouses, with an internal height of 11 m of clearance will be able to support any form of distribution or light manufacturing. The park will have on site customs clearance, level dock unloading facilities, direct access to 2 highways and the railway. An inland container terminal is planned at a later stage. Free zone designation is planned and bonded licensing is also available.  The first warehouse is fully leased and tenants are being sought for the other 2 warehouses.

The second phase of the project will consist of additional land of 85 000 m² and 2 additional warehouses with 30 000m² of covered space.

Located 5 km from the center of Tirana, it is 7 km to the airport and 25 km to the port of Durres. TLP will serve as a regional hub, as it has access to 8 mln people within a 200 km radius. With the newly constructed highways it is 2 hours to Kosovo and 3 hours to Macedonia.

The Tirana Logistics Park is majority owned and developed by the Balfin Group which continues to bring innovative projects to Albania that help the country develop. Balfin is the largest privately owned company in Albania, it has developed the first retail electronics group of stores, the first shopping mall, the first grocery store chain and now the first logistics park.
