BALFIN Group has officially welcomed one of France’s most beloved fashion brands to Albania, with the opening of the very first KIABI Kids store at Tirana East Gate (TEG).

This milestone marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between BALFIN Group and KIABI, aimed at introducing the renowned French brand first in Albania and later across the region, including Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Montenegro.
Known for its high-quality, stylish, and affordable fashion, KIABI Kids offers parents sustainable choices and children a unique sense of style, setting a new benchmark in the Albanian retail market.

Juljan Mane, Vice President of Retail at BALFIN Group, emphasized the significance of this launch:
“This is a special day for us, as we are bringing to Albania one of the most successful fashion brands in France and Europe, especially in the fast fashion industry. KIABI is a brand we have long wanted to bring here, and finally it is becoming reality. We are convinced that KIABI will transform the Albanian market, giving families the opportunity to buy not only at affordable prices but also with guaranteed quality.”

From its very first day at TEG, the store has attracted remarkable interest from shoppers, reflecting the long-standing gap in the market for a brand like KIABI.
Agnes Nikitsky, KIABI’s Executive Director for Europe, expressed her enthusiasm for the launch:
“I want Albanian families to fully experience the KIABI world, just like families across the globe already do. Personally, I am very proud to be part of this exciting journey. I wish great success to our team in Albania, and I am confident that KIABI will soon become one of the most loved destinations for families in the country.”
To celebrate the opening, KIABI Kids at TEG rolled out special offers, surprises, and a festive atmosphere, immediately positioning itself as a family-friendly fashion destination.

Redon Sholla, Executive Director of KIABI Albania, highlighted the strong customer response:
“Although we just opened our doors, consumer interest has been extraordinary. A brand like KIABI has been missing from the Albanian market for a long time, and its arrival introduces a fresh concept of affordable yet high-quality fashion.”
KIABI is part of the French Mulliez Group, one of the largest retail conglomerates in Europe, which also owns household names like Decathlon, Auchan, Leroy Merlin, and many more. With a presence in 33 countries worldwide and a strong online sales platform, KIABI has become one of Europe’s leading fast fashion brands.
The partnership between BALFIN Group and KIABI is designed not only to provide affordable fashion for families but also to create lasting value in the region. The expansion is expected to generate over 400 new jobs, reinforcing BALFIN’s role as a major contributor to economic growth in the Western Balkans.

The opening of KIABI Kids at TEG is just the first step in what promises to be a transformative retail journey. By combining BALFIN’s deep local expertise with KIABI’s global success, the partnership is set to redefine the shopping experience for families across the Western Balkans.
