Alisa, take us behind the scenes of your journey at BALFIN Group. How did you come on board, and what keeps you motivated?
“My professional journey at BALFIN Group began in 2017, when Jumbo opened its first store in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I had the privilege and responsibility to be part of the team from day one. Since then, I have witnessed the company’s growth as well as my own professional development. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience, met amazing people, and learned how to contribute to expanding such a recognizable brand in our market.
What keeps me motivated is the constant movement, new challenges, new ideas, and the opportunity to be part of a brand that families across the country trust and love.”
Was there a defining moment when you knew you made The right choice joining BALFIN Group?
“I knew I had made the right decision within the very first months. I could immediately see how much the company invests in its people, provides opportunities for growth, and nurtures a strong sense of teamwork. The moment I saw our first store filled with customers and becoming a go-to place for families, I felt proud to be part of that story.”
What’s your proudest achievement at BALFIN Group?
“I am most proud of being part of the team that built Jumbo in Bosnia and Herzegovina from the very beginning. To witness the transformation of an idea into a successful business story in our market, and to know I contributed to it, is a feeling that cannot easily be described.”
Tell us about a recent win that boosted your career and left a personal mark.
“Recently, I had the opportunity to take part in a project to improve internal organization. It required a lot of dedication, communication, and teamwork. The project was successfully completed, and it brought me new confidence and skills that I now apply in my personal life as well, better organization, leadership, and clear communication.”
Imagine your best day at work. What made it memorable?
“The best day for me was the opening of the very first Jumbo store in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The energy, excitement, and the smiles of customers who stepped into our world of toys and family products for the first time, that day will always stay in my memory. It was the moment I truly felt the value of what we do.”
