This is the story of Miloš Vučetić, Operations Controller at Jumbo Montenegro, who has been promoted four times during his journey with Balfin Group and, if you ask us, this is only the beginning.

My journey at Balfin Group began almost by accident, through Jumbo, which is part of the Balfin Group.
When I first joined, I did not expect that it would turn into a long-term career. Today, more than six and a half years later, I can proudly say that I have been a part of Balfin Group’s journey in Montenegro from the very beginning.

From the start, I felt that Jumbo and Balfin Group were places where I could grow, prove myself, and build something meaningful. I grew together with the company, and that continuous personal and professional development is what truly motivated me to stay. The opportunity to work on myself, learn, and progress has been a constant source of motivation.

One of the things I am most proud of is the trust and support I received along the way. I joined the company as a shop assistant in Jumbo, and over time I was promoted four times. Through each promotion, I had the chance to experience different roles and processes within the company, which gave me a deep understanding of how the business operates.

A defining professional moment for me was being entrusted with my first mayor independent responsibility, the opening of the third Jumbo store in Montenegro. Being part of the team responsible for that opening was both a great challenge and a strong vote of confidence. It was a moment that confirmed I had made the right decision to join Balfin group.

Working with colleagues has also played a huge role in my growth. I had the opportunity to learn from people with strong professional knowledge and experience, and that team spirit is something I believe can only happen in a company like Balfin.

I enjoy challenges and always try to give more than what is expected of me.

Perhaps that comes from my personality- I am Leo, after all, but more importantly, I feel a strong sense of responsibility not to let down the people who believed in me and supported my growth. Jumbo and Balfin Group continuously offer new challenges, and that is what keeps me excited and motivated every day.

If I had to share one message with everyone reading this, it would be this: Balfin Group is a place where dedication, trust, and hard work are recognized. My journey at Jumbo shows that even an unexpected start can turn into a successful and fulfilling career.
