Describe your professional journey at BALFIN Group.
My professional journey began in June 2005 at Mane TCI, where I spent two formative years gaining valuable experience and building a strong foundation in my field. In March 2023, I joined SCAN Tv, then part of the BALFIN Group, where I had the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic and talented team. In November 2023, I transitioned to Tirana Business University, also under the BALFIN Group umbrella, where I continue to advance my professional expertise and actively contribute to the institution’s strategic objectives. This journey has been a rewarding path of continuous learning, growth, and development within innovative and forward-thinking environments.
Eliverta, take us behind the scenes of your journey at BALFIN Group. What’s the story of how you came on board and what kept you excited to stay?
I joined BALFIN Group with a strong drive to grow professionally and be part of something meaningful. From the very beginning, I was surrounded by passionate and committed individuals who both challenged and supported me. What began as an opportunity quickly evolved into a transformative journey marked by continuous learning, accountability, and personal development.
What has kept me here is the powerful combination of purpose and people. I’ve had the privilege to contribute to impactful initiatives, support meaningful change, and consistently expand my skill set. The collaborative work culture, inspiring leadership, and clear strategic vision have all been key reasons why I remain committed—and why I look forward to what lies ahead with enthusiasm and confidence.
Was there a moment, big or small, when you looked around and thought, “I absolutely made the right choice joining BALFIN Group”? What was that defining moment like for you?
There was a moment early in my journey with BALFIN Group that left a lasting impression. I joined the Group during a time of significant change, and the pressure was undeniable but what stood out most was how everyone came together. The spirit of collaboration, the mutual trust, and the shared determination to succeed reminded me exactly why I had chosen to be here.
In that moment, I realized I wasn’t just part of a company. I was part of a team that truly believed in its mission and supported one another every step of the way. That’s when I knew I had made the right decision.
Tell us about a recent win, something that not only boosted your career but left a personal mark on you. What made it so meaningful to you?
One recent achievement that truly stands out was becoming part of Tirana Business University. It was a defining challenge one that pushed me beyond my comfort zone but also allowed me to take real ownership and make a tangible impact.
What made this experience especially meaningful wasn’t just the professional recognition, it was witnessing the positive outcomes of our efforts and the value they brought to the team and the organization. On a personal level, it served as a powerful reminder of how much I’ve grown and reaffirmed my confidence in the contributions I bring. It wasn’t just a step forward in my career, it was a reaffirmation of my passion for what I do.
Imagine your best day at work. What went down that made it so memorable, and why did it feel like the perfect day at BALFIN Group?
One of my most memorable moments at Tirana Business University came shortly after I joined, when we successfully completed a complex budgeting process under tight deadlines. Despite the time constraints, we managed to align departmental priorities and deliver a clear, strategic budget that directly supported enhancements in key areas such as student services and academic resources. It was a powerful demonstration of teamwork, agility, and a shared commitment to the university’s mission.
What made that day truly meaningful was the realization that our work in finance goes far beyond numbers. It’s about creating the conditions for growth, empowering educators, and enriching the student experience. Contributing to something that directly supports the university’s progress—that’s what made it a standout moment for me.

What I wish more people knew is that behind BALFIN’s scale and success lies a culture deeply rooted in trust, collaboration, and continuous learning. My journey hasn’t always been easy, there have been real challenges but colleagues being humans first and foremost have helped me grow, evolve, and become better at what I do. And that kind of experience is something I genuinely value.
