BIS 2024: BALFIN Group’s Annual Event Takes a New Turn with AI

Balfin Innovation Summit, an important event that supports and promotes the innovative ideas of employees within BALFIN Group, took place for the sixth consecutive year. While maintaining its core mission, this sixth edition introduced a unique approach by incorporating Artificial Intelligence as a moderator.

BIS 2024 brought together employees from all companies within BALFIN Group, showcasing dozens of projects, with five being selected as finalists. All projects and presented solutions that have the potential to enhance the products and processes of the Group’s companies, as well as the broader industry.

Under the slogan “Unconventional Thinking,” the Sixth Balfin Innovation Summit adopted a new and innovative approach, redefining the norms within the events industry. For the first time, presentations were delivered through Artificial Intelligence, providing a unique experience for all participants.

Samir Mane, President of BALFIN Group, highlighted how important employees and their contributions are to the company. He noted that this focus is what establishes BALFIN as a leader in innovation.

The event featured a special guest speaker, Vladimir Vulic, a renowned expert in the field of digitalization. He shared practical insights and valuable perspectives on the impact of innovation in everyday life.

The highlight of BIS 2024 was when participants took the stage to present their projects and answer questions from the jury, made up of three Vice Presidents of BALFIN Group: Steven Grunerud, Ardiana Sokoli, and Csaba Toth.

The Sixth Balfin Innovation Summit concluded with the announcement of the winner. Fotelda Dai, Talent Acquisition & Development Manager at BALFIN Group, won first place with her project ‘Inspire Trip’, which focuses on an agency that blends team travel experiences with organizational culture. This idea is based on the internal activities that BALFIN Group conducts, as well as the Fotelda’s passion for further applying her expertise in Human Resources.

BIS 2024 was a successful edition that follows in the footsteps of previous events, reaffirming that innovation and technology are fundamental values of BALFIN Group. For more than 30 years, these values have united creative and passionate individuals, bolstered major companies, and extended the presence of BALFIN Group beyond Albania, into the region and beyond.
